Testimonials
My husband and I are Canadians who own a home in the Pebble Beach subdivision of Rotonda West. We live here seasonally. In 2013, following quintuple bypass surgery, my husband had a stroke. It left him with disabilities in mobility and speech; he requires constant care. In Toronto, the Ontario government provides 15 hours of home-care through the week. In Florida, I have to hire help.
It was our great fortune to find Kara Mullen. Primarily, she provides outdoor exercise for my husband. She takes him through a variety of seated exercises, supervises his walking along the street and takes him for short excursions on his wheelchair if he has tired from walking. The care and kindness she shows him are exemplary. She listens to him, banters a bit with him and ensures that he is safe. When he returns home from his 90-minute outing, he wears a huge smile. He has great affection for Kara.
In addition to taking care of my husband, I am responsible for maintaining our home and grounds. When we arrived back in the fall, I was over-whelmed. I had a 45-item to do list. In two days, with Kara’s assistance, we completed everything.
No matter the challenge, Kara rises to it and accomplishes it in a timely, efficient fashion, and she always does things correctly. Among other tasks, she has run errands, shopped, composted, fertilized the garden, hauled and cut broken branches, weeded, raked, changed light bulbs and washed (to perfection) the windows. Indeed, there is nothing I have asked Kara to do that she hasn’t taken on with a smile.
Without reservation, I recommend Kara for the myriad of tasks she lists in her brochure.
Sincerely,
Dr. Lillian Hrabchak
